The Way to Salvation

"For the wages (cost) of sin is death (separation from God); but the gift of God is eternal life (union with God) through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Ashleigh loved the Lord with all her might. She was only 8 years old, but she had wisdom beyond her years. She was greatly concerned about the people she loved, and whether they knew the Lord. So for her sake I am including this page about salvation, with the hopes that it will touch at least one person.

This is one of the first Bible verses that Ashleigh learned..."For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." I think that is probably the most well known verse there is.

In John 3, Jesus says "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again (saved), he cannot see the kingdom of God." Romans 10:9 says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (born again)."

If you need further help, find a good church in your area, and attend this Sunday.  There are lots of good, Bible believing churches out there. That is the best place to start. You may also want to check out focusonthefamily.org or some other such Christian-oriented organization that will have books and materials you could study.
