Shane was out raking the leaves, and Emma decided to join him. They posed for this picture, and Emma gave her daddy "bunny ears". She got that from Ashleigh - Ash loved to give people bunny ears in pictures and on video. Emma watches a video we have of all of us from 2 years ago, and in it Ashleigh keeps giving her bunny ears.

Here she is again, giving bunny ears. Both of these pictures were taken on October 31, 2001.

One of the best books anyone has gotten me since Ashleigh went to Heaven, is one called "Mommy, Please Don't Cry (Tender Words for Broken Hearts)". It was written by Linda DeYmaz, and is an excellent help to Mommys who have lost a child. This is one of my favorite lines in the book ... "Someday, Mommy, we will hold each other tight! Then you will cradle me in your arms, and stroke my hair...And once again, our hearts will beat together."
